David S. Olson
David S. Olson, the principal of David Olson Law Group, is a successful litigation and trial attorney. With over thirty-five years of litigation and business law experience, including at large state, Pacific Rim, and international law firms, Mr. Olson has represented clients in disputes covering a broad spectrum of substantive areas, including contract, aviation, apparel, trade secret/unfair competition, partnership/corporate governance, employment/whistleblower, internet, and real estate/landlord-tenant matters. Mr. Olson has a demonstrable record of obtaining successful results for clients, whether at trial, arbitration, by way of dispositive motions, or through negotiated settlements. Mr. Olson recently handled one of the first Zoom trials in California, which lasted twenty trial days. In that case, Mr. Olson’s Client defeated a $2.6 million breach of contract claim.
In 2000, Mr. Olson was named one of California’s lawyers of the year by California Lawyer Magazine. Mr. Olson graduated Order of the Coif from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, where he served as an editor of the USC Law Review, and has since authored numerous legal articles, including on employment discrimination, arbitration, and real estate law for the National Law Review, the Daily Journal, and while serving as the Examiner’s Los Angeles Business Law Examiner. Mr. Olson has been quoted in legal and trade publications, including the National Business Aviation Association.
Mr. Olson is admitted to practice before the state courts in California and Florida, as well as the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and several federal district courts. He is also a member of the American, California, and Los Angeles Bar Associations and the California Lawyers Association.
